Hello, I just installed a Autokrafters TURN SIGNAL SWITCH in my 72 Mav, nothing happens when I move the turn signal arm up or down. The 4 way flashers work.
any ideas on were I should look at next?. Before I put in the new turn signal switch.all 4 turn signal light would work, brake lights work, but when you put the headlight on the right rear tail light would work, but not when you hit the brakes or make a right hand turn. So far I have replace with new parts:
    1. New headlight switch.
    2. New Flashers.
    3. New Brake Light Switch
    4. 4 New bulbs for the right rear tail light
    5. New right rear socket.
    6. NEW TURN SIGNAL SWITCH

    Thanks
    Tony

The lighting system has 3 basic grounds or at least on 71-72 comets. So yours should be close to the same. Rear ground is found inside the trunk around the area of where the gas tank tube is. Should be a single black wire screwed or bolted to the frame for the trunk latch, but this is probably not the problem. Also the front of the car has two grounds, which can see lots of water and moisture. Im guessing its going to be the passanger side front ground which should be a black wire about 1" below the bumer line mounted on the radiator support. I would check that ground first. If your grounds are ok then I can only think of one other spot to check. You have a connector on the driver side of the car under the dash. Its going to be about the level the light switch is at and your going to see a red 4 prong harness connector which connects from the main dash to the light assembly, its going to enter the framing of the car through a round hole, this connector sometimes need to be taken apart and then reconnected, I used diaelectric grease on mine. Its not easy to get apart or back together for the matter, so be carefull not to pull it by the wires. Electric problems are always the worst, good luck

By the way im assuming you bought the entire switch not the repair kit

Repair kits are not worth 2 dead flys!!! They are made in china and your lights will never work right with a repair kit
