I have an issue with my right front turn signal not working on my 73 Maverick. The bulb is good. The parking light comes on as well. The back right signal works fine. Is there a way to check if it's getting power to the turn signal part of the light?

check the ground wire first...then take a test light and prob the bulb contacts with the signal flashing.

Yes.....you will need a test light (one you can get from any auto parts store). That is where I would start.

    Possible issues:

    1. Bulb not making good contact inside the socket.
    2. The bulb could "look" good....but still be bad.
    3. Bad turn signal switch can cause all kinds of strange things.
    4. Grounding issues can cause strange things as well.
    5. Bulb could be in backwards ( I have seen it done)
