The other day I washed my car.I got under it and sprayed water at the oil pan and couple other places since it was pretty oily down there..After I went out and noticed I had no turn signals..After a little bit they came back on and worked fine then they went out again and came back again.Well as I was driving yesterday I noticed that they don't work AGAIN ..I already checked the grounds and theyre all good.Fuses are all good..I checked the bulbs and theyre all good. When I turn on the hazards they work fine and all the bulbs light up but I don't have turn signals..Neither of the blinkers on the dashboard go on as well..What should I do next?

were the couple other places near the turn signal switch? :rofl2: if not it sounds like the switch to me. the hazard switch is a part of the turn signal switch assembly and some of the connections are common between the switches internally.....turn signal switches are prone to alot of abuse.

Switch your hazard and turn signal flasher units and see if they work then. You may just need a new flasher unit! :)

Are you sure your cowl doesn't leak? May have gotten something under the dash wet if it leaks any at all, it only takes a single drop to short something out.

Under the dash, with a flashlight, you'll find them.

I had the same problem and didn't think this would work. I switched the flashers and now both work. Don't really understand why this would work but it did...Thanks!

It works because they are on different circuits. That simple lever on the column hooks to a fairly complicated switch!
