    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    The 4-door with Grabber Blue paint is interesting.

    According to all the 71 sales brochures there were only 2 tu-tone paint combo's. Of course I don't have the 71 color and trim book for Ford(although I do have the 71 Mercury Color and trim book that shows a white or black roof color for the Comet available with all sorts of other colors), so I don't know what was possible on the Mav. Apparently mine was the dominant tu-tone option. In fact when I bought my 4dr in June '88 there was a old lady driving one identical to mine. Also notice how much of a stripper the 2dr was. Not even an AM radio! And it's the 1st Mav I bought back in Nov. 83, the one that started it all!
