What can we use to coat the under side of the car black besides black paint. I thought about a bed liner mixture that you can roll on but I don't know for sure. Spray in bed liner is to hard because I have not took the car apart.

They sell an undercoating that is kinda rubery.....I use it. Can't remember what it is called or it's intended original application. I just saw it and figured it would work good down under. Works great....spray on, black in color.

I've used the spray can stuff available from any parts store. Worked pretty good.

duplicolor makes a spray bomb bed liner that seems to work wonders on gas tanks inside of trunks and anywhere else you want to look good and not worry about it getting scratched easily

I sprayed the under carriage of both of our Mavericks with Mar Hyde paintable undercoating. The stuff is already black, but with the paintable undercoating you can paint over it with any color you like. It's pretty tough stuff and it looks decent too.

The Mar-Hyde stuff I use comes in spray cans. It might also come in quart or gallon cans to be used with a gun. I'm not really sure though. If it does I haven't seen it sold that way where I buy it.

    rust proof

if you are doing a small area go to your local ford dealer and ask for part# [pm.12.f]. its for an f150 recall for bedsides rusting. it comes with a roller, pan , a rust converter in a 3oz bottle and a anti corrosion coating (rust-proof) in a 6oz bottle. works really good. cost is about $10.00
