A lot more got done this week, but not so as you can tell it. The paint reacted differently in a few spots on the scoop and drive door did not turn out to the painter's 100% satisfaction. So, he sanded, re-painted, and re-cleared both this week. Major improvements on the looks. Today, while John was finishing the wet sanding and polishing, we mounted the scoop and the spoiler to the car. It's possible that tomorrow afternoon we can roll the car out of the booth and I can get pics in the sunshine. Well, it's on Maverick. Doesn't that make it a Maverick spoiler?:evilsmile There are about 4-5 folks that know the answer to that question. Let's see if anybody can guess (besides those that know and they know who they are).
I'm going out on a limb here, but I say Camaro also, but I'm thinking 70-71, 2nd generation , before they went with the 3 piece spoiler...
'Tis a '70-'71 Camaro (not Z28) spoiler. A lot of material was removed to get it to fit like it does. There is probably a good 20 man hours in customizing that spoiler to fit. Added: To do another one will not take as long since we know how much material to remove. On the first day of working with this spoiler, Earl and I removed material very, very little at a time.
Looking awesome! What time you going back down tomarrow? I had some obligations today, couldn't make it.
I'm not sure if I'm going back tomorrow. It depends on a bunch of things, including if it is going to be sunny tomorrow afternoon.
