My mav has been on the back burner long enough. After a move to a larger home with a pole barn has inspired me to get back on track with my 70. The sunday before memorial day we were hit by straight line winds of 100 + mph so that was a set back. I wasted my summer doing repairs on the home instead of my car. Last time i posted i was working on the brakes. I used the 72 torino spindles and disc brakes. The rear drum brakes were upgraded to a 5 bolt 10x2 shoes after redrilling the axles. I hooked up the cable clutch system for the t-5. I machined my essentric and welded it to the clutch pedal. Couldnt ask for a easier and more functionable piece. I refabricated my trunk area for the 65 mustang gas tank. I couldnt find a replacement for the maverick and when i found a used one the price made me laugh and cry. I had to rebuild the carb so i could feed my hungry 351w. I have noticed more mavericks in my area i hope to hook up with these people and get to some car shows. Keep you posted...peace.:thumbs2:

You have one year to get it ready for the next MCCI Roundup Nationals....so you better get busy.
