Upgrading from disc brakes to bigger disc brakes I have come to the conclusion that I would like a little more braking power. I already have manual disc brakes from a 74 mav and am interested in possibly upgrading to something a little bigger. What are my options? I need to try and keep this as cheap as possible though. Aftermarket brakes are nice but way too much money. Are there any factory options that are available without too much trouble?
have you thought of using power brakes? my p/b comet tends to stop better then my manual maverick likes to
Sorry. I forgot to mention that I am not interested in installing a power brake booster. I prefer the clean look of the manual setup. Thanks for the suggestion though.
perfectly understandable, that thing is pretty ugly, espically the shock tower brace that goes with it.
I have the funny shock tower brace. I still need to install it though as i haven't put the P/B booster on yet. Maybe next weekend
