Using the I-6 A/C with the "new" V-8?

    Will the compressor from the I6 mount right and function on the V8?

    I think I still have some of the A/C support brackets I took off my truck's 302 many moons ago, but if I remember right, it used the power steering adjustment for tension on a shared belt. No power steering in the mav.

    It'll work, but it'll all be in the mounting, unless you want to change the hoses. On a V8, it uses a third belt, and a tensioner. Are you going to use the factory compressor?
