Has anyone else had this problem? I bought a V-8 crossmember but the bolt holes center to center is 12 1/4" apart and the holes in frame are 11 5/8" apart. I do have a 70 mav and I know that they didn't come out with V-8s until 71 but the holes are there. Is this a common problem?

Ward; Yes, it is a problem on all '70 Mavs. You have to elongate the holes in the bracket, and also clip the bottom part to clear the pan frame. Not hard, just something else to do. Good luck,

Thanks, thought maybe something was wrong with either the car or the crossmember.
