    Hi everyone,

I am in the middle of a 4-speed swap, and the z-bar frame bracket isn't aligned with the block. I am using a Mustang frame bracket.

Does anyone have measurements for a Maverick one, so I can modify the one i have?

    Cheers,
    Alex

I went through this a few months ago. The ball on the V8 frame bracket is half inch closer to the shock tower than the 6 cyl frame bracket. I cut two frame brackets and welded them together making it longer. Z-Bar

    Great thanks for that.
I thought it was about 1" at first but I'll go with 1/2".
    Cheers.

I guess a Mustang bracket is the same as the I6 Maverick bracket?
