V8 z-bar mod (update)

    I have every thing ready to mock up on the car. I need to install 2 grease fittings in the z-bar.
    Here is a teaser pic of the engine side with the spherical bearing installed. I will start on the tech article this week, if all goes well on mock up.

    How will you keep it from sliding side to side? The original had that silly clip that held it in place from right to left.

    the thick felt washers are not installed in that pic.

    I took it for a drive today. The pedal effort is that of a hydraulic setup, but still has the feel / feedback of the mechanical linkage. That and its quiet, no more squeaks and funny noises.
