Valve body going back in tranny

    I am in the process of replacing the rear and forward bands in my c-4. Looking at the valve body what must I look out for putting it back into the tranny? Any help would be appreciated.

    one, make sure the shifter detent is in the correct position.
    don't overtighten the VB bolts.

    Also make sure the downshift lever is lined up and engages the downshift valve.
