Valve cover bolts

    I am getting ready to change out the valve covers, gaskets and bolts. The bolts that are on there now are crappy. I have Ford GT 40X aluminum heads. Do you recommend that I use aluminum valve cover bolts or will standard or stanless steel be fine:hmmm:. Don't want to mess the heads up.:)

    Since you have aluminum heads make sure you use anti seize on whichever bolts you use. I use ARP studs with nuts, I think it makes installation easier.

    I agree. I use studs on mine. Makes putting the gaskets on really easy.:)

    i doubt youd be able to find alum. bolts. go with the studs. or if you go with the stainless steal do make sure you use antiseize as mentioned earlyer.
