Ok, here is another Fuel system question. Where can I get a vapor return valve for my 76-77 Gas tank? Is this another junk yard item, or does someone make it?

    Thanks,
    Jason:bananaman

If your talking about the vent that is attached to the top of the fuel tank, they are still available from Ford.
    Part # is: E7DZ9B593-A
The seal that holds it in is part # F6TZ9B076-AA
Also, if the carboard tubing under the hood that goes from the carbon canister to the air cleaner is falling apart, Its also still available. Part # is D4ZZ9D667A for a 40" piece.

    Hey Mavaholic or Anyone,

While you are giving out parts numbers, do u know if I'd be able to get the little cardboard papery thingy that goes around the base of the Gas tank spout (not sure the exact terminology). You know the pipe that sticks out the back with the gas cap on it.

    Thanks

I think he meals the cork seal that goes between the rear panel and the gas inlet tube. Yes, those are available at any Mustang place.
