I've typed messages on here a few times today and have never had it be this slow to respond.

I've ran all the spyware, adware, malware, online scans, and everyware programs there is but to no avail.

Anyone else having this problem? (Dec 1, 2007)

BTW, it's only happening on THIS site and only when I type. The surfing of threads is just fine.

I'm afeered there is a keylogger on my sys (particular to this site) but no apps can find it.

Rick; my system is fine, and is normal....whatever that is! Try to run a disk cleanup and defrag. Sometimes my machine slows down, and it helps. But....if this is the only slow site, then it may just be a slow network. Sorry I can't offer more help. I heard you talked to Frank this evening......I'm sorry!

Note to self: Don goes on the list with Frank and Ray (a/k/a "The List").

Additional note: Forward "The List" to the James River Coal Company by 12/15 for presents to be delivered by 12/24.

Rick, a key logger should be undetectable by the user as it is meant to spy on the user. I think your problem is due to corrupt javascript that is used by the forum. Clear your cache and next time you load the forum, a new copy of the javascript will be fetched.

It's been a little slow for me lately too. But it's an off and on thing, some days it's fine, other days it's "Waiting for http://pagead2.googlesomecrap.com/blahblahblah" or whatever site is. I run all the normal spyware stuff once a week and usually reboot 2-3 times a week. My computer runs 24/7 365 days a year except when I shut it down to work on the hardware or wiring every once in a while.

Defrag... hmm... I vaguely remember doing that at some point in the past. Just went and checked... below is an actual screen shot from my computer.

Long live my computer... we've been through much together in the past 10 years. :rofl2: I've bounced this OS across several hard drives and motherboards.

Jamie, I think you have a record! Hopefully, you'll be able to log on after you finally do do (cuh huh..I said "do do") that house-cleaning.

Earl, Frank, and Terry - you guys keep me entertained. Thanks!

Yes, Frank and I had a few laughs yesterday via cellular communication devices. Self deprecation can be cleansing as well as hillarious. (and for the last time, Frank, "NO", I haven't left yet. That happens tomorrow :outtahere: ).

When (if) I come back from Singapore, I'm gonna hang out with you guys - until you make me want to go back.

Cheese: Thanks for the help. You're like, good n' stuff. That was the problem! Maybe you should start your own message board or sump'in. (y)
