VIN number verification?

    I'm in process of purchasing a 1974 Comet GT and would like to know the VIN designation of a genuine GT model to tell a real GT from a clone. I'm a little suspicious of this car's heritage. Hello to all...my present project is a 1956 F100.:)

    No such VIN designation for a Comet GT....sorry.

    Craig is right ... can't even get a Marti Report on a 1974 car to verify. Unless he has the original paperwork you are just taking his word for it ...
