VR springs

    I was about to buy the grab a trak 620 67 mustang springs for my maverick till I realized its a linear spring. TCP sells a progressive rate spring for double the cost however its stock length for the 67 stang. Can I use the shorter 66 mustang spring in the maverick to get the VR effect and still lower the car? according to TCP they match up the 66 VR spring to the maverick front.

    According to Total Control the springs will only drop about 1/2". Course engine weight and options will also effect the drop height. So I'll also buy the 1/4" insulators, which should almost give me a 1 inch drop.
