I've never done bodywork. My trunk weatherstrip is leaking. What is best to remove old adhesive? Got to replace the weatherstrip. Recently discovered about 5 inches of water inside both rear quarterpanels, which are new..
    Thanks

Need to check the 1/4 drains if you have standing water in there

Depending on how much glue/ adheasive that is left after you remove the old trunk rubber you maybe able to just scrape it clean and/or wire brush it depending on how much corrosion is below the rubber
