You can leave the glass out.Put the regulator assy in though first so you dont risk damageing the new window fuzzies.

how hard are these to put in? I'm having trouble just getting the old ones out and am trying to decide if I should wait until after paint to install (this is what I want to do) but would hate to scrape fresh paint trying to install them.

Dont put the new ones in till after paint!!Gotta get some paint in there so it looks good.If you go slow you wont scratch anything. The old ones will pry out with a sharp thin screw driver or putty knife.Just go slow.

You will also need to cut the one corner into a 90 degree bend.

    oops, I meant belt line

I read door glass run and thought Beltline. Install beltline before or after paint? Sorry for the highjack. Just to keep it on topic, do the door glass run weatherstripping come with the antirattle clips?

When you cut it, only cut the sides, not the bottom of the weatherstripping.

Mavman, You said the good door glass run weatherstripping comes with antirattle clips. I bought from AK and no antirattle clips. where do you suggest I get them?

I think that's it, It's a vinyl coated metal clip attached to the window run at the top of the window frame. I think they were riveted to the rubber glass run.

I was in error when I read your post.Yes that clip is a glass guide,as for anti-rattle clips? mavs were cheap cars, didnt have them to the best of my knowledge. My T-top fireburp formula has anti rattle blocks on the beltline weather stripping(the glass rattles anyway LOL)if your glass rattles when rolled down, try adjusting the glass stop at the bottom of the door to keep the glass between the beltline stripping instead of below it.good luck.
