I'd consider being dragged to Mission with you both.

Went down. Track was not great. couldn't hook up to save my life. Ran a best of 12.43@112.28 with a best 60' of 1.99 (different runs)
Scored a pair of 28x10.5 slicks brand new for $50.00
A pair of rims and tubes from now I should be able to get asked to leave the track.
Coop. you would have dusted about 80% of the field.

Was curious as to what kind of slicks you stole ur I mean bought for cheap. We get 50 a piece around here for used MT's. Also, is there some reason for running tubes in them, have heard that unless you use the regular racing tubes, they will not wrinkle as well. Never have used tubes and was just wondering how they work out.

    Goodyear eagles.
I was under the impression they would have a hard time holding any air without tubes in them.
If I can get away without tubes I will though.
I feel like I got a smokin deal on these things, but I'm worried they won't fit.

Here's a trick I learned the other day. Yes...GY's are notorious for leaking air through their paper-thin sidewalls, but Dawn dish washing soap applied to the inside of the sidewall, then let dry completely will slow down the leak.

I found this out the other day while working on a lawn mower tire that leaked air through the sides. I took it off, inspeced the beads, then soaped it down pretty good...and got interrupted. In the mean time, the soap dried and after I had it mouted, the leak was gone. I have read this trick before on another board...but doubted that it'd work. Apparently it does, well, at least on lawn mower tires.

I ran my car with Goodyears for about 4 years without tubes & screws and had no troubles. Just mark the tire and rim and check it after every run...if the tire slips on the rim it might break the bead which is...well...not good. I have a set of Mickeys now and was told if I screw them to the rim...use tubes. So now I'm screwed(to the rim) but I'm just using reg car tubes... and have had no problems. If you use screws..use the correct ones though...

Well sounds like it's worth giving it a shot without tubes. Next time I go I'll have them with me. I hope they fit the car on 10 inch wide rims!
