my son has come up with this idea of welding the back doors up on his 77 4 door. we are shaving the rear door handles now. He has this monster sytem he is almost through building...3000 k watts( monster to me) of course at todays standards thats not much. now he wants the back doors welded up and back side windows paneled up. Inside will be sound proofed and carpeted.interior panrls for the back side windows too. I mean 3k watts, lol.I'm not sure how its gona turn out but we will see.maybe a vinyl top...who knows...Jim:huh:

Sounds interesting. Are you going to weld and fill the door seams?

In think it would look smooth enough just by shaving the handles. Keeping the doors functional would allow easier access to the stereo eqipment if repair or maintainence were necessary. Should look cool either way...

Sounds awesome! I saw a 5.0 mustang once with the back side windows welded over. It looked totally unique. I cant wait to see this.
