for the past week ive been rounding up parts and getting everything ready for my '71 2dr. I used to work in a body shop so i took my car to the owner and told him what i wanted. I dropped the car off on Friday and drove it bback home last night. I helped a little here and there but a big thanks goes to him. I painted it back the factory color, Grabber Blue (code: J) with it's factory White top (code: M). Im changing out dashes today, replacing the heater box, installing new weatherstripping and putting in my new carpet.

the pictures aren't all that great because they were taken in the garage but they're not too bad. enjoy :)

Those 2 colors work very well together. Glad you chose to remain with a 2 tone color scheme. Looks awesome!!

Nothing like a well done, fresh painted car. It should be a beaut when complete. Nice tires, too :naughty:

    yes sir, Grabber Blue

Thanks Dan. I think they work well together as well. that's one of the reasons i chose to keep the factory color combination.

and just so that everyone knows, im changing the wheels on the car. they're a bit muddy in the pictures because it rained Thursday when i pulled it into the garage but rest assured, they'll be changed! :D

    Dave,

Looks great. My dad just called me today and said that my 70 Grabber Mustang is shiny Grabber Blue once again. I'll post some pics of it when he sends them. Grabber Blue has to be one of the best colors I've ever seen. - Matt
