The car is seeing it's last days in my garage, and as I pull more metal off, I'm surprised at how little rust there actually is on this car. I'll let the pictures do the talking. These pictures show my inner fenders, trunk bottom, and cowl.

dmhines: I had a good sized hole in my floor under it and I was concerned it was leaking from pinholes or something I couldn't see from below.
I am amazed whenever I see a mav/com in our area that has survived at all. With the heavy use of salt in the winter, I would say you have an excellent candidate for a resto. Dan
Dan, A little history always helps: I found my car in muscatine, iowa after a tip from a member here on the board. The car was originally titled in colorado, it only has 80,000 orig. miles on it. So it started life in a state that is very good with salt in the winters, sat for a long time, and ended up in rural iowa where they never salt anyways.
