went to Englishtown last night, fresh motor with 0 runs, decided to enter the gamblers race so I would get a prepped track and 2 timeshots and first round, car ran a 10.95 and 10.92 in timeshots, then I ran a 10.89, a 10.97 on the brakes ( would have went a .87), then i redlighted and went a 10.859 on a 10.60 dial at 124mph, weather wise it wasnt a great night, DA was 2800, and went down to 2200, and the carb was fat. so i need to take some jet out. but the car was smooth, oil psi was good, and I won 50 dollars. not a bad night

If I may ask, why dial 10.60 when your car was running 10.80s?

Nice car. Wish mine went that fast.:thumbs2:

went thru the carb, last time a ran the car the air was -900 feet, so I had 78-86 jets in my 835cfm demon. ( you need alot of carb to run a boss to 8500+) just put 75 and 83's in, gotta go thru the valves, cut the oil filter to make everything is nice, and gonna try to run the gamblers race at etown a week from tomorrow.

after looking at my notes, the car has run a best of 10.62 @ 126 when the air was -900ft, i think with going an 10.85 in 2300 ft of air on a fresh engine, and way too fat, the car should go better than my best in good air.

but guess I gotta hope for a clean oil filter and take it one week at a time.

That's great! You should go to E- town for the diggs on July 28th I think. A bunch of us are going to be there. It's always a fun event and it only costs $12 to get in and race. I may even be able to get you a free ticket if Walt gives us some again.
