dmhines, and others with a 4 pot on a 302. What stock appearing air cleaner did you use? I have less space than usual, due to a/c, but I desire a stock appearing air cleaner. I added a 4bbl, so the original, neat as heck, dork appearing unit does not fit.

I would like a single snorkel, so I can hook up the original air feed from the radiator support.

I think mine was off a 4V Torino or Fairlane ... bought it a while back from eBay so don't really remember .... I think 2V and 4V air cleaners have the same size opening. There are differences in diameter and height though ... This looks alot like the one I am using ...

PRetty sweet deal considering it is blasted and powder coated ... although it may be tough finding the exact shade of blue to match your engine and valve covers to the breather ...

My 2V factory breather will not clear all the way around a Holley 4V, even though
the opening is the same size.

There may be some from trucks that work. They would probably be cheaper to buy.

I'm using an Edelbrock and have no problems so maybe it depends on the carb your using ... Good luck ....

They don't fit the Holley profile to well do they?

I had an idea, maybe someone would be interested...
Take an aftermarket air cleaner drop base, take a stock snorkel cleaner of the same diameter, cut the bottom out of the stock part, then weld the drop base back in.
A little sanding and paint, no one would know.
Now you have a little extra clearance for a taller intake and Holley carb while looking bone stock.
    Just a thought
