We have a 70 maverick we are restoring at the moment. Just wondering what color to paint it. I was either thinking green and black or all gloss black. With no emblems at all. Pics would be great to see what colors look good on them. Thanks.

Ok, cool. You can do almost anything with black interior. Black on black is sweet. What about red on black?

i like the red. i was thinking lime green with black down the middle. like on the hood and roof. or just gloss black with crome with no emblems. i thought that would look cool.

Any of the choices EXCEPT stripes...IMO i think that style of redneck chevy stripes is old and ugly..i would stick to grabber style stripes on hood/down the side. just my opinion though! it's your car so in the end it's up to you as your the one driving and enjoying it.

If you go green, think 1970 Grabber Green.

im going to look at some fords that are the new vermilion red to see what they look like for my 1970. I fear it might be too orange.

I was thinking about metallic orange. I think that looks pretty cool. Or you could go with a sharpie edition or it.

I was leaning on this for awhile, but everything I saw didnt have that wow factor I would like. Yeah its a color not a lot are doing on old cars, but its coming out on new cars so I kinda backed out due to the increasing popularity.

Ive been thinking of a few custom colors but when it comes down to it I cant choose, I dont want to have painters remorse and regret the color. I wish I could paint it and see then repaint without any issues just to test colors.

I think the gloss black on black is nice on any old car. especially a maverick the the body it has. I was woried about since I'm only gonna drive it during the summer being up in NH that it would get to how with it being all black? So that's what I thought of the green.
