i have a 74 maverick 6cyl 250 its has no upgrades so far and my first step is the exhaust im thinking about a cherrybomb muffler vortex or glasspack to go with it not shure yet or you can try to talk me into flowmasters idk. i just want a few more opinions
Do a search. Theres a lot of info. Plus videos. I ran a cherrybomb turbo, a magnaflow and a flowmaster. I liked the turbo the best.
i have the same engine. had exhaust shop in town run (all stainless pipe) from manifold into a y pipe, into dual 12" glasspacks, than ran pipe right infront of rear tires into magnaflow stainless tips. with the y and bending to rear wheels it gives a low rumble and reduces popping that most glasspacks produce. they charged me $250. sounds great compared to generic magnaflow/flowmaster tunes i hear around town. --gave my engine a big boost on power, my old exhaust was clogged to the point you couldnt see through it though
