What grille is this?

    I can't figure out where the grille that is on my maverick right now came from. Does anybody know what car this came off of?

    looks like it came from a galixe 67' 68' somewhere in there.

    I agree with John B., definitely Fairlane although the center badge mount looks added on.

    i'm looking at my 63-74 interchange manual. it shows all the grills for those years and the closest i can see is the 65 comet #C5GY8200A. it also has the badge in the center.:)

    cool, I was thinking about keeping that grille anyway, and I'm going to just remove the center badge.

    ..yep, that is a '65 Comet grill.

    The shame part...

    ...is that it had to be modified to fit
    a Maverick. It is only good now for
    your car.
    In great shape it would be worth
    several Maverick grills in very good
    shape.

    I'm not knocking it, just making a
    point about the value of '65 Comet
    grills.
