I think it was Thomas Hackmans pics of the "homemade" valve covers. I can't find them any where. And help? Russ

I was looking for them today to show a fellow Maverick buddy. I was wondering the same thing.

Thread starters can delete a whole thread and posters can delete their posts in a thread they reply to.

I did not(and rarely do) delete any posts, and I did not get any error e-mails. So it is possible that someone decided to delete their own post(s). However, if you do notice more posts missing, let me know,as the database is close to 250 megs(almost the equivalent of 175 floppy disks)!!!!

Im going to do a clean up of the classifieds this week and delete ads older than 30 days.

I deleted the post after I got one of the internet engineers telling me how to make them so they work. I was very offended by this post and decided not to play the game. The fact that I can even make these covers at all, tells me I know alittle something.

Here is the finished product (except the oil fill cap) they are for visual effect since the motor I am building is for the street, 6000-6500 rpm.

Well Thomas, I think the valve covers you made are AWESOME!
I actually like the look of them better than the ones Ford made.

I don`t know about everyone else ...but I am nothing but impressed with the Imagination and skill level that goes into your cars. It just doesnt get any better than being able to design and build you own custom parts that are one of a kind, and to use one of 71golds (Frank`s) sayings " Look Store Bought"
when they are done. :bananaman

They look great! Just as expected. If I knew that I had the talent that you do, I wouldn't worry about what was said about my abilites. We ALL KNOW BETTER, and I don't know anyone (well, Mr. Chris -"Radmav" doesn't count) :D who would argue against your talent. And so......since "I" don't have any talent ;) I will be content to drool over your's (and other's) projects. Oh, and by the way-- If at any time I offend anyone on this site or any other site, I apoligize now. Ya'll take care! Country :bananaman  :bananaman

Sorry about the comments from an obviously negative, closed minded person. Speaking for myself, I love those covers... Absolutely amazing! :bananaman  :D

    Thomas.

Those things are gorgeous, but seriously, what if you wanted to hook to them to pull the engine?
Now if you were just to add a brace right under......
    hehehe

Look at the way the seem between the cowl and firewall is cleaned up. Its the suttle things that I dig too. I just might have to try that on the exposed arear's of mine cause I know I cant make those valve covers.
