    same boat here...had no clue what a boomerang was...well aside from that thing you throw that keeps coming back (other than ex girlfriends)

    at least i wasn't the only one. are they hard to change out? if not i'll take a set.

    They aren't too bad to change out. There is a screw on the outside, and then you have to take the rear interior plastic panels off and reach up in there and remove a nut from the bottom. The hardest part is getting the bottom of the back seat out, though that's not hard once you get the feel for it.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.

    No need to remove the seat or side panel. It can all be reached from inside the trunk.

    Here you go, these are a set of painted boomerangs I picked up off a Sprint in a junkyard last year. Stripped the paint off and perfect chrome was underneath! The other thing is a "Fasten Seat Belts" light that is a late '72 thing only.
