I thought all Automatic transmissions were Automatic. Am I missing something? I have some semi automatic firearms, and I am looking at getting a class III stamp for some fully automatic fire arms. I understand the difference when dealing with guns but not with transmissions. :hmmm:

As far as Mavericks go, the semi-automatic was a special C4 that was offered as an option in 1970. It used a manual valve body. There was no "Drive" mode like other automatics. The operator had to manually shift the column lever to the desired gear.
