    1/2" or 9/16"

I need to know when ordering a rebuild kit for my 71 Grabber.

My brand new, still in the box, repro shackles for my '70 are 1/2". Never compared them to the ones on the car to know if they're the same. And does it matter? If the OD of the bushings are correct they should fit the spring and the frame.
