what size slick

    1972 Maverick 351w swap, 1965 Mustang 355 glide, 1993 civic daily driver
    What size slick do you run on your car. I am planning to run a 26x8.5 et drag. I will have a 351w 3500 stall and 4.62 gears. It should be mid 7's in the 1/8. I figure this is plenty of tire for my car. What size tire are you running on your car

    I would go with 28x9. With that gear and engine, you will probably have lot's of tire spin and lot's of RPM.

    28x9 hoosiers. After running several different tires hoosiers just work on my car. Much more consistent.

    Also one thing to remember is you can never have too much traction. If your gonna braket race it you need all you can get.
