I made a thread in general and attached pictures. After hitting submit, I noticed that it for some reason had posted the thread twice. So I went to the first one and deleted that thread so there would not be two identical threads. I clicked on the second one and noticed the pictures were not on the second (identical) thread. I tried to upload them again, and it says they are already uploaded. So I went to my user control panel, and clicked the attachments link, figureing I would have to just go in and manually delete them and reupload them. Well, it is not listing the pictures in my list of attachments. I deleted the second thread, and tried to re-create the thread again from scratch. It still would not let me upload the pictures, says they are already attached, and provides a link to the thread I deleted. When I click the link, it says I followed an invalid link. In other words, it won't let me re-upload the pictures because it says they are already attached to a thread that I deleted. The pictures are not showing up in my "attachments" catagory in my User CP, so I cannot manually delete them. I don't know what to do.
Temp fix.... change the file name of the photo's, reupload... then if it ever lets you find the ones that you dont have uploaded... delete them
I tried that... I tried to rename them like "1.jpg" "2.jpg", but the site still knows they are the same pictures some how.
