Lets say you just finished building you Maverick/Comet and its exactly how you've always wanted it, complete restoration, brand new everything, 9in posi rear end, ever reliable 347 stroker makin 450+hp, disc brakes all around, freshly reupholsterd interior, excellent paint job, rack and pinion steering, show car perfect and can run 10's in the 1/4 mile or whatever, the Maverick of your dreams and you just finished building it. Now if you had the chance to trade it for any type of vehicle what would you trade it for? The only rule is you can't just sell the car you traded for, like you cant get a Bugatti Veyron just so you can sell it and have a million bucks, the car is just yours to keep and drive.

I dont know if I would trade mine for anything. I'd love to have the badass Maverick I picture in my daydreams. Maybe s Saleen S7 Comp or some crazy supersport car like that, BUT I really dont know for sure if I would even trade for that.

Maybe because my comet is my first car, and my dad had a Mav most my life, I can't think of anything else I'd rather have. I just personally love the look of a Mav / Comet and the amount of stuff you can do to them to make them classier and or meaner looking. My fav Mav so far though is that blacked out, chop topped 4 door from Ontario.

I honestly don't think I would trade my Maverick for anything once I get it to where I want it. My dream car is actually my Mav with a 427 or 408 Stroker with a manual tranny that will run 11's or faster and still be streetable and could keep up with a newer car when the road gets twisty. A '66 427 Fairlane would be cool, but we've already got a '66 Fairlane and we could just build it with a 427. I wouldn't really want any rare factory car cause I love modifying them and making them my own and that's what I love about my Maverick is that its not rare at all so there is no shame it doing what I want with it.
