I was wondering what exterior colors you guys feel go well with a red interior? I have a red exterior, which i like, but im open to any ideas. I have considered black, but that would be a lot of body time and i live in a new neighborhood...very dusty. The only colors that come to mind are regular coral red, black, or a candy red. Let me know what you all think.:hmmm:

I forgot to mention that a like the look of the blacked out rear ends around the taillights. I rattle canned mine awhile back and was pleased with the look (not the quality). Like i said, im being very indecisive and need some direction right now. Thanks.

I would think black or white, too.

A nice metallic silver goes real good with red interior. Goes good with black (gloss) stripes too.

I live charcoal gray metalic, with the red interior. The color would also look very nice witht he blacked-out tail panel and grill. Just a suggestion.......

A wise body man told me once that when trying to decide on matching colors, to imagine the 2 colors on a striped shirt. How would it look if you were walking down the steet to other people? Would it be a cool combo or a clown combo?

I like white, charcoal, and black in that order.

yep..... white then silver then charcoal..black would work great also but black is the absolute WORST color unless you have a killer body man/woman. shows off all the flaws... as far as the dirt and dust goes...unless you hate washing your car and if you have a great body shop, my first real choice is limo black. (can't spell limosine)

LoL, great way to put color combos into perspective. I have never even considered going the white route before, and IMO other than black, white is the cleanest and sharpest looking color out there. I am also a big fan of baby blue accents, i.e. blue stripes and or the blue around the tailights with the white. I am just afraid of overdoing it with my red interior. Thanks to everyone for all of the input. I am afraid that with my current finances, i still have a bit of time on deciding what color go with:cry:. I could always keep it red, but i would like it to be a little different. Well thanks again, and i will try to keep eveyone up to date.

Keep it red ,use black or charcol or silver as an accent color (stripes). It costs more to do a color change right. JMO

I agree with all the above, white, black, silver or even red.

An interesting color combo that I have seen was on a '69
& '70 Shelby GT 500 & 350. Red interior, white exterior, blue Shelby
stripes on the side. The guy lives not far from me here in NC.

The '69 was one of 8 with that color combo that year. It actually
looked pretty neat. Different, but neat.
