    Which color would look better on my mav? first is a stock 03 mach 1 wheel,second is completely the mettalic gray color and third is sanded with a pinstripe around the edge and clear coated with the sanding pattern. Forth is a closer shot of number three.

    #3 but...Do the pinstripe in the body color your going to paint it.:yup:

    I'm liking #3 as well ... I think you just showed my how I need to do the wheels on my Explorer ... they need help (Clearcoat is peeling) and I was just going to shoot them a light metallic grey. The contrast in yours really looks good.

    2 questions ...

    How are you sanding them?... Machine? ... by hand? ... what grits?

    What paint and clearcoat are you using?

    80 grit on a dewalt palm sander and just some wheel paint I picked up at autozone. The weather sucks right now or I would go get the colors off the can for you. I will try to post them next time I am out there. I still need to wet sand the clearcoat, it has crud in it.
