Hello, I am trying to figure out what replacement inner and outer or complete wheel houses will fit a 2 door 1973 maverick. I understand that the set from a Mustang will work, but I do not know whIch model years? Any information is appreciated.

Nothing is a direct fit, some people have used Mustang ones, with modifications.

Has anyone actually done the mod with mustang wheel houses? If so, for what model year did you buy?

The Mustang wheel house doesn't line up correctly with the Maverick quarter panel. So as a direct fit it will not work. With some massaging it can be done though.

Couldn't find the outer housings that I needed when I had my car redone 17 years ago. The body shop made some by brazing together and shaping strips of metal. Cost me $500.
