First off sorry I haven't posted in A-W-H-I-L-E. No excuses guys! I am nearing completion of my 71 comet... Some may remember in old posts it was a fantastic avocado green .. I will post new pics it is black with red rally, red headliner red carpet, black gt seats... No interior door panels or door handles...

Does anyone know where to buy interior panels and door handles? Maybe know a good replacement... Maybe stang interior..

I'll post a new pics here in a min

    Thanks guys

I'm not seeing anything when I click the link, but it could be just my PC, it's been acting up lately.
What happened to your door handles and panels that were in it? from the old thread they look pretty decent, I managed to get some door handles for mine (they were right under my nose in a parts car) and I am having the door panels custom made, good luck in your search, and be sure and post for whatever you need, chances are someone will have it.

The old ones where in good shape.. I had a buddy helping me prep it for paint and he got a little excited.. He thought because I had new headliner carpet and re upholstered seats, that I must have new door handles and panels. So, now I have neither..

Thanks for the complement .. I like the black and red too. I'll try to get some pics up of the interior. It's also black and red

Looks good, like a totally different car. Nice truck too. I keep telling myself that when my tires need replaced on my 70 F-100 that Im going to lower and go with more of a street truck look then original look.

    http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/716058-buildup-06-crown-vic-front-suspension-into-67-f100.html

Here's what I did with it.. I have two, both run, 69 and 71, the 69 you saw in the pic has a crown Vic front end and a super c'd rear, I also turned the cab mounts upside down and set the body over the frame, it also used to be a long box I cut 3 ft out of the bed. Has a 460 with original t18.. Does about 70 tops, but gets there quick. I think you can see the 71 right behind it in the pic.

Now on my 71 I will not rat it out like that, but still putting crown Vic front end and lowering rear, might c notch but no super c. All total it will drop it about 6 inches all the way around.

I like how it's progressed so far, you've done some good work. Except for the V8 and dealer A/C, your before pictures are the spitting image of my first Comet that I got rid of years ago.

On the door panels, check with the people parting out Mavericks in the For Sale section. Personally, I would try to find a set that don't look the best in the world, but have good backer boards, and have them recovered to match the rest of your interior.

The same person that you get the door panels from should have the rest of the parts you need too.

Yeah and he appears to be using borrowed / unauthorized pictures under his "mavericks with different taillights" link, some look pretty familiar, he's been around awhile, used to get spammed by him.
