Just looked at a listing and it had peel and seal on the floor.

I have never seen that and would like to know where to get it.

    Thank you

Lowe's building supply has Peel & Seal in the roofing department. People will criticize the product because it is asphalt base. But Detroit used asphalt as a sound deadener for years before technology gave an alterative.

Do not worry what the enviromental wackos think about what you do to your own car.

If we really were worried about that then we would not be driving 30 + year old cars.

I'm not worried what the environmental freaks think. I drive a 48 and 35 year old car. I'm just saying who ever came up with the internet rumor saying do not use asphalt base material as a sound deadener didn't do their homework because cars come from the factory with asphalt base sound deadener...or they were pushing another product that cost many dollars more that does the same job as Peel & Seal...like Dynomat.

I am going to Lowers and find some of that stuff and use it in my old machine.

I posted a pict of a fiberglass floor repair we did today.

Thank you for the great idea.

Brings up a new question: How heavy is this stuff? I've already added subframe connectors and upgraded to a 9" axle and don't want to add a bunch more weight to my ride... ;)
