I wouldnt walk out on a frozen lake, much less drive a car on it. They are nuts. About 22 yrs ago it got cold enough here to freeze the Severn River. Or so a couple of fools thought that tried to drive across it.

    Drag racing!

To go out on ice and drag race is having the fever real bad.
Hell, I want to go racing right now but not on the ice. (my 60 foot times would really suck)

I wonder how much ICE slicks are?

You really got to be carfeul and not heat the tires up to much.
Hell, you'd sink right to the bottom!

I have never seen ice drags, but we have had ice racing road courses for years. I helped a friend campaign a Nissan years ago. The Archer brothers got their start in ice racing.

    Hmmm...

..do we know that they are on a lake?
Or is it packed snow/ice? The angle of the
background keeps me from believing it is on
    a lake.
I would guess that they run some sort of
studded tire. If not metal some sort of
    dune buggy style tire.
