where to get the weatherstripping?

    WE are changing the color, and doing a total paint job on a very original 73 Comet. I want to replace the rubber. Does anyone know a source for this stuff?

    try autokrafters ,or some of them may be found on ebay as well, good luck

    Try Autokrafters in Broadway,va.They have catalogs for all sorts of old fords,including a separate catalog just for 70-77 mavericks and 71-77 comets.(y)

    Yea I believe AutoKrafters is your best bet if it's a 2-door they don't carry 4-door weatherstripping.

    Yes, Autokrafters. I got all my rubber through them a couple months ago. I got door window runs (2), rear window weatherstrip, front windshield weatherstrip, trunk weatherstrip, door weatherstrips (pr), & beltline weatherstrips (pr). They all fit like the original.
