where to mount coil

    well i got my new blaster 2 coil and just dont know where to put it.any pics would be great or just a line or two on where you put yours.right now i have it mounted to the head with spacers to keep it away from the head.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    I have one on the intake (stock 302 location) In my blue mav.My Sprint has it on the left shock tower. Heat and vibration are supposed to be bad for ignition coils.Only thing I would recommend is this: No matter where you mount it...Be certain it is mounted upright or if mounted horizontally,be certain the + and - posts are horizontal to the ground so the oil in the coil keeps both terminals submerged.The oil is a coolant and you can cook the terminals (internally) causing the connections to them to become brittle and break.

    thanks john i think i got mine in the right place just need to mount it more solid.but that tomorrows project
