where's the hole go??

    anyone have any good pics of their drivers door panels with the mirror remote installed, I bought a set off of dmhines (nice by the way), but Im not sure where to drill the hole for the joystick...any help would be GREATLY appreciated...jerry

    i would imagine that you can mount the joystick where ever you want... i am assuming that the joystick is connected to the mirror by a cable?
    if so then you can drill the hole4 anywhere in the door panel as long as the cable doesnt bind with the window going up and down

    the last car i had that had remote windows had a cable and i got a new door and had the drill the hole...i just put it where i thought it looked the best and it worked fine

    It goes up in the metal portion of the door. Not on the door panel.

    I'll be working on the Maverick this weekend ... I'll get you some measurements and pictures if you don't have them by then ... Sorry it took so long ... Like Dennis said .. you need to cut a circular hole in your door ... not your door panel ..
