    hello!
    new member here.
    i have a 77' inline 6, 4.1L, 250.
i would like to keep the engine stock.
the stock carb is an awful 1bbl motorcraft but i want to upgrade to a 2bbl.
which endels or holleys could fit?
will i need to swap out the manifold?
also it needs to clear the hood.
any suggestions are a big help.

    :Welcome:to the site!!!!!

The intake manifold is part of the head on those motors, so to put a 2bbl you would have to use and adaptor..... Here is a like to some info http://classicinlines.com/logmods.asp

Would a carb adaptor work for you to fit a 2 barrel carb to a stock manifold?
