I'm sure this question has been asked before.....what black color am I looking for to do the "blacked-out" sections of my car, ie..grill, headlight bezels ect? Is it FLAT BLACK??? Doesn't look flat to me. Anyone know what is the CORRECT color? Thanks...............................D Ray

I've always used Rustoleum satin black. Really like the look and much easier to keep clean as opposed to a flat black. Besides, when these cars were new, for those who remember, the black plastic grills had more of a satin sheen than a flat.

    I have heard it....

...referred to as 40% gloss. I do not know
if that is a technical term for it.
