I've got a automatic C6 out of a 72'mav in decent condition and a 4 bolt AOT out of a 89 lincoln towncar.Im just getting into Transmission stuff and wanted to know if either have potential to be used with a 302 from a 85 towncar for my mav thanks.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
mavericks only had C4s. And you mean AOD. And yes both will work with the 302.

To use the AOD you will want to consider a new cross-member, a shortened driveline, gears in the rear end between 3.89 and 4.11, a new "A" OD servo, Lokar throttle pressure cable and swapping block plates and flex plate. The yoke you have will probably work with the shortened driveline.
