I am not really sure if I like the aluminum wheels on my 1974. Since it is an LDO car.....I don't think that the "sporty" aluminum wheels go with the "luxury" look that the car has. I have been thinking of switching to the Magnum 500 styled steel wheels. Just thought I would take a poll and see what you all think. You can see in the picture a rough idea of what each one would look like on the car. Take your pick!!

Put the slots on one side and the magnums on the other.

I think the Maverick Slots and the Magnums both have a sporty look.

These aren't Magnums but heres a pic of my Maverick it's an LDO and I think it looks great with sporty wheels.

I tied it up again ... OK ... I am a big fan of slots ... I have them on my Grabber ... but have a set a Magnums for my 74 which I will get on one day. You can't go wrong either way ... but on the open market the slots are worth far more $$$ ....

F.Y.I.: Billet Aluminum magnums are available from Wheel Vintiques for $260 each. Light-weight, never rust, and look awesome...

I like both but the slots seem to go with the car better. Can't go wrong either way. It's a Maverick!! Any wheel looks good on the best looking car made.

I think the polished slots give the car a little sparkle. But I'm bias towards aluminum wheels.

Are the trim rings on the painted Magnums on the rear? It doesn't look like it has them on in the photo. It may just be the photo. If not, it would look a lot better with them on.
