    Wasnt sure where to post this but does anyone know where i can go and check my vin number and find out who has owned my car since 77. I tried carfax but it keeps telling me not enough numbers and the reason im checking is my son is doing a report on my car for school (which is cool) :clap: and i thought it would help. thanks tom

    VIN numbers weren't standardized until the 80s which makes it VERY hard to track down the history of the car.
